Americas Best Value Inn San Jose Convention Center

The shower stopped working on the morning I had to attend a service. I’d already overslept after a bad night’s sleep, and the delay made me even later. Staff came over and tried to work out what was wrong with the shower head, but I needed to get out quickly. I also couldn’t find any charging ports, and the only outlet was by the front door, so my phone cord had to stretch across the exit. The managing staff were professional, respectful, and courteous when I checked in. I’ve traveled around the country for 40 years and usually choose four- or five-star hotels, but this location was close to a service I was attending for a friend. I appreciate the staff’s effort.

Akash really made the stay for me. He was kind and understanding. The room was clean and adorable, and it’s across from Walmart with other shops and places to eat nearby. I’d recommend this hotel.

There’s enough parking for guests, and fast food, a diner, and convenience stores are all an easy walk away. The manager, “Akash”, and his wife were very nice and helpful. The place is clean and offers a decent stay for what they charge. No frills or thrills, just fair value.

We stay here regularly when we visit San Jose. It’s affordable, clean, in a convenient spot, and the staff are kind. For the price, it’s the best value around. If keeping costs down is a main factor, this is a good choice.
