The staff were excellent, and the place was quiet and clean.

It was peaceful here, and I liked the place. There are several shops and places to eat nearby. Thanks, I’ll come back.

The front office attendant was really sweet, and I slept very well 😊 The AC worked great, but the shower didn’t work, and the hot water was scorching. There weren’t any chairs, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as I opened the door. The auto body shop next door meant you could see and smell overspray. Popeye's fried chicken is nearby 🙏 This place is a dump, but I grew up in one and still live in one, so it felt like home 🤣 It would make a perfect movie setting. The hot water was seriously too hot 🤷

The layout made a big difference for me. Each unit is single story, with its own hot water heater, and a garage or carport between it and the next unit. No door dings, footsteps overhead, or neighbors banging walls and slamming doors at midnight. There’s a liquor store right next door, so no DUIs, and a catering truck in the store parking lot with excellent barbacoa. Demmys is a block away. The place looks old from outside, but it’s well kept inside, with nicely upgraded rooms, AC, a refer, microwave, Wi-Fi, and great flatscreen TVs. It’s on the Monterey hwy, so stay overnight and go to the beach. If I could afford it, I’d live here. Enjoy! James Smith, a happy tenant.
