Best Western Lanai Garden Inn & Suites

Check-in was quick, and the location is good, just off the highway. There’s plenty of parking and security cameras. But the listing on hotel.com advertised a crib, which I requested, and I was told it wasn’t available. At 4:30 pm I also asked for the microwave and fridge in the room to be cleaned, but was told the cleaning staff had already left.

Stayed there in September 2025. It was cozy and really nice. The beds were comfortable, with no stains or bedbugs, and I’m pretty sure they got the food from the Denny's down the street because it was delicious. Five stars.

The entrance can be tricky to find. You have to drive through a mattress store parking lot. We got a parking pass and checked the bill, and there was no parking fee. Our room was neat and clean, and we’d asked for somewhere quiet, so they put us at the back of the hotel. It was plenty quiet there. The towels were small and a bit thin, though they were replaced every day even though we hadn’t asked. Breakfast had some small snags: tea and various other items weren’t replenished in time, and the coffee ran out often enough that they could use a second carafe. Otherwise, it was pretty much a typical Best Western.

The stay was bland and the staff seemed disengaged from the start. The thing that really made it a bad experience was what happened after we left: we accidentally left a blanket and stuffed animal in the room, then called later that day. They acted like the items weren’t there and were rude on the phone. I felt they’d taken the things and were trying to cover it up.
