Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami-Doral/Dolphin Mall

Customer service was excellent, and I was upgraded to a large, spacious suite with a pullout sofa bed. The room was clean, though the extra sheet and blanket in the closet weren't. The paint couldn't hide the age, which showed in the corners and cracks. I missed breakfast, so can't comment on it, but there's a hot beverage station open 24 hours. I'd stay here again.

The hotel refunded the room, but the stay was still a very poor experience. The customer-facing staff were excellent, though the rooms need an upgrade and the manager should inspect them daily to raise the quality standard. Our first room had flies. In the replacement room, the bathroom door jammed and the supervisor had to break it down to get my son out. Hilton needs to improve the support for the staff here. Disappointed.

We're here for a family function and got to check in early without any trouble, thanks to excellent, friendly service. The rooms are very clean, rates are reasonable, and we haven't had any drama or complaints. Las Vegas Restaurant is right next door and is a must for lunch or dinner. We definitely prefer this place to anything in Miami Springs.

I spent five days here and my room was never serviced, despite the policy saying rooms are supposed to be cleaned every other day. No trash was taken out, towels weren't refreshed, and nobody checked on the room. I had to go downstairs every day for clean towels while the garbage piled up. My key also kept getting disabled every day, so I had to make another trip to the desk just to get into my room. For the price and the expectations the hotel sets, this was frustrating and unacceptable. I hope management fixes these problems so future guests don't go through the same thing.
