For $34 with fees through Booking.com, the single king room was a really good deal. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the heater worked, and I got a hot shower. No bugs, and the roof stayed dry. The harsh lighting and a bathroom that was just a bit less clean than I’d like cost it a star, but for that price the motel met or beat what I expected.

Coffee is available a block down, across the street. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. If you need somewhere along your route and value matters, this is a phenomenal deal.

My son and I had a lovely little getaway for a reasonable price, and we drove up and got a Blockbuster card. The staff were lovely, and our room was very clean and comfortable. There aren't many restaurants in town after 6 p.m., though that's not the hotel's fault. I know, maybe you're shaking your head and thinking, “OK?!?” But unless you're super-picky, you can't go wrong staying here.

Tucked away in a mountain small town, this motel is a great value for the nightly rate. It's an old place, but clean, and the staff were attentive and hospitable. A good spot to get off the road and relax for a couple of days. I'll definitely stay again when I'm passing through in May 2025.
