Rhapsody in View Boutique Hotel

The food was a real highlight. I could watch breakfast being made through the dining room window, and the hot egg soufflé and locally roasted coffee were both delicious. We could pick breakfast ahead of time, and Bobby and Kezia handled my gluten allergy easily, with gluten-free baked goods and pastries that made my day. They went above and beyond. My room, Rhapsody in Blue, was spacious and charming, with hand-stenciled walls by Kezia, cozy linens, and thoughtful details. From the balcony we had a beautiful view of the ocean and Morro Rock. The soft sheets, large shower towels, huge TV, and USB-A and C outlets were appreciated. Despite being right off Highway 1, the room was quiet and snug, with soundproofing and a modern A/C system that beats some big-name hotels. I loved the easy code entry for the room and dining area. Fresh chocolate chip cookies were waiting when I arrived, and the lounge with its fireplace, coffee, and treats felt like home. The place is clearly made with care, and we felt welcome from the start. It was also easy to get around from here. I walked to the beach trail and Morro Rock, and San Luis Obispo and the Bishop Peak hike were a quick drive away. Your hospitality made this the best stay of all my years traveling. We had fun talking with the owners and hearing about the area and their suggestions. They're family run, and you can see the care in the Gershwin-themed rooms, hand-stenciled walls, the special fish fossil at the entrance, and the delicious made-to-order breakfasts. They've brought Minnesota Nice to Central California. An amazing beach with lots of sand dollars is within walking distance, and there are trails, other beaches, and a boardwalk nearby where you can see otters and birds. Plenty to do.

We were so glad to find this family-owned place. It's comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the complimentary breakfast is made fresh to order. Very kid friendly, too, and a place for lasting memories. We had originally booked Masterpiece hotel and were gravely disappointed. Rhapsody In View is a thousand times better and worth every penny. Best hotel I've stayed in.

The welcome from the family-run hotel was warm from the moment we arrived, and the customer service made us feel at home. It was spotless and luxurious, with a delicious breakfast presented beautifully. You can tell how much care and pride goes into every detail. Highly recommend!
