The person who checked us in was friendly, but the room had a lot wrong with it: a strong weed and other unpleasant smell, stained sheets, a broken toilet seat, a sink that wouldn't drain, and a dirty towel left in the shower by the previous guest. People were also wandering back and forth through the parking lot from the other hotel, staring at us while we were just trying to get our family a place to sleep. Don't stay here. The nearby hotels seemed sketchy too.

We mostly hung out at the pool, and the room itself was comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were available in the hotel, which is just off the highway. You can walk to 7-Eleven and Burger King, and Kings Dominion is across the main road.

Good location, with breakfast and coffee in the morning. Some areas of the building have a bit of a musty smell, and a train passes loudly at night, though they provide two pairs of complimentary earbuds. The room had an older window HVAC unit: when no light is on, it's running the AC, and the light indicates fan or heat. The tub drain was nearly clogged, but still usable.

The staff were friendly and Kings Dominion is very close, but the room had a mildew smell as soon as we walked in. There were dark marks on the ceiling that looked like mold or mildew, stains in the tub, brown splatters on the bathroom wall by the toilet, and what seemed to be mildew on the lampshade. I also found a bug in the bed, and the sink and drain were cracked. Breakfast was okay, though there were no non-pork meat choices and the two waffle makers were always in use. The coffee tasted good, but the vent above the station was extremely dirty and might have had black mold.
