Adams Inn

The owners have been incredibly helpful when things felt overwhelming, and they always make sure I’m safe when I stay. They’re also very appreciative of our services. Adams inn has a quiet, quaint, private feel, with friendly staff and a family atmosphere, even while short staffed. I’m grateful for their kindness and patience with the things I’ve unintentionally been involved in. Wishing them the best.

I left the same day and went to another, much better hotel. The night here was sleepless. The floor was filthy, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, and the sheets were so bad I had to get a blanket from the car to cover the bed. Clothes were left behind the couch, the TV remote didn’t work, the TV speaker was blown, and the air conditioning blew hot air. Easily the worst hotel stay I’ve had. NEVER AGAIN!!

At least the hot water worked and the shower pressure was good. The entrance was a little hard to find, and the room itself was very basic. We spotted two roaches, trapping one under a cup, and were glad we’d only booked a single night. It was chilly, and the thin sheets weren’t enough; warmer blankets would help. The heater was loud and ran on a timer, cycling on and off every few minutes so the room got cold again whenever it stopped.

I didn’t expect breakfast, so that was a nice surprise, and the bed was pleasantly firm. The mini fridge ran, though it wasn’t quite cold enough. Everything else worked, and the room was very clean. For the most affordable place I’ve stayed, the quality surprised me. It’s a nice spot, but bring cash if you can because they put a hold on debit cards.
