Econo Lodge Dothan West

The place was affordable, but we won’t return. The room was dated, dirty, damaged, and nothing like the online listing. The mattress sagged in several spots, the walls had patched and repainted damage and kids’ drawings, and the nightstand drawer was falling apart. The fridge looked like it had been thrown from a second-story window and dragged back upstairs, though it was very cold. Our white socks turned black from the filthy floor. Then a roach crawled up the wall while we watched TV. The shower was extremely hot but squealed the whole time. The ice machine was broken, and there was no vending.

Kimberly did a great job helping us. She’s very generous. The hotel was cleaner than any other one I’ve stayed at around here, hands down, though the walls need repainting and the bathroom floors should be redone. My main complaint is the Wi-Fi, it’s so bad I can’t even play my PS5.

The rooms were in good shape, clean, and free of bugs, and the rate was very reasonable compared with nearby hotels in Dothan, AL. Kimberley was at the front desk when I checked in today and was respectful and helpful with everything.

I usually stay here when I come to Dothan. It's quiet, the rooms are decent, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
