We’ve stayed in rooms with fireplaces and without, and both were fine. The rooms are basic, but clean, with fixtures that work. They all have a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, which we need. The indoor pool and hot tub are another must for us. The hot tub is more like a giant hot pool, and I’d love one that size at home. Breakfast has a pretty good selection for a typical hotel setup. We stop here often when heading north or south, and the location is convenient. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was spotless and comfortable, so we could relax after a long day. We especially enjoyed breakfast each morning. There was a nice range of choices, all fresh and well prepared. The pool was clean and relaxing too. We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday weekend, and the stay made it feel even more special. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable place with good amenities and service.

For more than $200 a night over two nights, we expected much better than a mediocre, dirty room and dismissive staff. There’s no elevator, yet our family of five was put on the top floor with over two bags each, a toddler, and my husband’s eight-month-pregnant wife having to manage the stairs. The toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived. The sheets had yellow marks and gray, dirty handprints, so either they were stained, hadn’t been cleaned, or someone changing them had dirty hands. TV reception kept cutting out on a sunny day, and there were hardly any channels. Someone on the second floor was smoking Marijuana, and the smell filled the whole hallway and our room. When my husband called the desk, they seemed not to care. Very disappointing. I’d stay somewhere else overnight.

We’ve stayed here three times, and every visit has been great. Breakfast and the pool area were our favorites, and the staff were good to us too. When the microwave in our room didn’t work, they brought us a working one. Thanks for the good stays. We’ll be back soon. Signed, Amigo & Amiga
