Holiday Inn Express & Suites Douglas by IHG

We booked this hotel for a funeral, and my daughter was eating breakfast when she found mold in her eggs, as shown in the photo. I reported it to the front desk. They said a manager would be told and asked me to email the photos, saying someone would get back to me. The response I got was horrific and nonchalant, basically calling me a liar and taking no responsibility. When I called after getting that email, an assistant manager told me the front desk clerk hadn't told management or the kitchen staff about the complaint. This isn't the first time I've had an awful experience here, but this recent one takes the cake. It's already outdated and overpriced, and the lack of empathy about serving something harmful to guests is outrageous. It's frightening that they treated a matter this serious so casually.

A mouse ran into my room, and when I called the front desk they acted like it was no big deal. I travel for work and have stayed in hotels across several states for four years, and this is the first place where I've ever encountered a rodent. The hotel is extremely dirty. It's absolutely disgusting and needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

I came to Georgia for five days of work, and this was the hotel booked for us. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly.

The room was clean, and the TV was larger than in most hotel rooms. We needed a drain plug for the tub because we had our grandson with us, but there wasn't one. The nice woman working at the desk got one for us.
