I couldn't stay here with my child. When I pulled the sheets back, the mattress was molded and stained, and I no longer felt it was safe even if I cleaned the room myself. The outside was a dump with trash everywhere. I'd been driving all day and just needed somewhere for my child to sleep, so I asked the manager for another room. He showed me four, and every one was absolutely disgusting. I even asked for bleach so I could clean one myself. Instead, he got his house keeper, then called me into the office, handed me 20 cash, and apologized. While I waited for housekeeping, I took the sheets off the bed and found the mattress condition. Walking back toward the office, I heard the house keeper talking crap about me, not knowing I was right behind her. She admitted she'd cut herself while cleaning and said that was the excuse for blood on the sheets. The room was filthy: toothpaste splashes on the mirror, urine and hairs on the toilet seat, blood and burn marks on the sheets, and trash on the floor. It was stressful, disgusting, and disrespectful. We went down the road to Jameson Inn, paid just a little more, and found pleasant office staff and very clean rooms. Don't waste your time or money here. This place should be condemned.

This is a cheap basic stay, and you pretty much get what you pay for. My room had fist holes in the bathroom door and wall, and the TV didn't work. It felt like they threw the room together right before I arrived. I was in town for a work trip driving Amish for the Mennonite disaster service, and this was still a step up from spending the night in a simple room with a cot. At least there was plumbing and a nice bed. It's close to restaurants, Walmart, and other things, and there's pretty good food nearby.

The location on US-441 made getting to downtown Douglas, nearby restaurants, and South Georgia State College easy. Check-in was smooth, with polite and helpful front desk staff. The room was clean and comfortable for the night. It's a simple, budget-friendly stop for passing through or visiting the area, and I'd consider staying again.

After the renovation, the rooms looked great. They felt fresh and clean, with updated interiors and comfortable bedding.

If I could give this a zero, I would. I booked one night for my husband, then called to confirm all the details. No one at the front desk would answer at first. When I finally reached someone, they argued that they had no matching name or number in their system and said my confirmation number was wrong. I'm working with my bank now to get our money back. I'll never book with them or that website again.
