We got our money back and went somewhere else. The sheets and pillows were dirty, with hair and grease on them. There was an odd smell in the room, though it wasn’t coming from the car air freshener we found. We also saw dead bugs in the windows and bathtub.

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were welcoming and polite. The “Continental breakfast” was a letdown: prepackaged honey buns and muffins like you’d get at a gas station, two sugary cereal choices with milk that had expired a few days earlier, and bagels to toast with nothing to spread on them. There wasn’t a healthy option. A piece of fruit would have been welcome.

The room was stifling when we arrived, even though it was in the 90s outside, because the air conditioner hadn’t been turned on. The advertised Continental breakfast didn’t exist. The employee blamed the closed lobby and missing breakfast on COVID restrictions. Check-in happened through glass, and guests weren’t allowed into the lobby. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily. Our room was okay and the bedding was clean, but the bathroom lights didn’t work until we figured out the GFCI outlet had tripped. Even then the lighting was poor, going from dim to extra bright and then strobing. The price was as advertised, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The website said it was pet friendly, but it wasn’t. They wouldn’t refund my money because I had a dog. The carpet felt wet, the bathroom floor stayed wet, and I found spiders in the bathroom. We were only allowed one pillow, the side table had no bottom, and there wasn’t a coffee maker. I’ll never stay here again.
