Garrison Hotel & Suites Dover-Portsmouth, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We were cozy and happy here for a whole week with our dog. The room was clean, and our nights were quiet and restful. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. We especially appreciated the cheerful holiday decorations and all the little touches around the hotel, particularly in the lobby, that made it feel like home. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

The service was great, and I appreciate a hotel that takes care to keep things clean and fresh. They do a great job all around. We’ll stay here whenever we’re in the area now.

The location was a big plus for me, practically within walking distance of downtown, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, the staff were super, and the dining area was a nice place to visit with family and friends. Corey at reception was a huge help in assigning me a room that would work for my upcoming treatment situation. I hope I’ve spelled her name right. Many thanks to her, she deserves recognition.

We stayed one night and were out of the hotel for most of it. For what we paid, it was worth booking, and I’d stay again if I’m back in the area. The room was spacious, with a nice bathroom and shower and good water pressure. WiFi was offered, along with most of the amenities people look for. The hotel is conveniently located off the highway, with a nice lobby and lounge. They had a pool and a full breakfast for guests, though I didn’t use the pool or have breakfast. The staff were nice and seemed to have things under control.
