Sanderling Resort Residences

The staff were kind, courteous, and attentive, and the Amex perks made the whole trip more than worthwhile. Without those, I’m not sure I would have discovered this wonderful resort. Our comfortable, good-looking room worked well, and they even brought us fresh fruit, a nice surprise. Beach access and amenities alone made the stay worth it. We ate at the theodosian restaurant and enjoyed its delicious, distinctive dishes at reasonable prices. My only suggestion is to keep the outdoor bar open later, since we had dinner reservations late. Thanks to the team for such an unforgettable stay.

The ocean and Sound views were incredible, and the whole property had a peaceful coastal feel. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We enjoyed picking up lattes at the lobby coffee bar before walking along the beach. Sanderling Resort has a quiet luxury atmosphere while still feeling warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down and appreciate life. Easily the best resort to stay at in the Outer Banks!

The hospitality really stood out. Every staff member we met went above and beyond, and we’d absolutely recommend Sanderling Resort for a romantic trip, wedding weekend, or relaxing beach break. We can’t wait to return. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, with ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making everything feel effortless. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We loved relaxing by the beach and pool, and Duck was a great location, close to shops and restaurants while still quiet and relaxing.

I had my nails done with dazzle dry and paid $100 because I was told the polish would last. It started chipping before 72 hours had passed. It felt rushed, and now I remember why I usually do my nails at home, where they last longer. What a waste. The spa and the people were nice otherwise. For the price, I expected the experience to feel a little more elevated and hospitable.
