Days Inn Duluth By Miller Hill Mall

The room stayed warm through a cool night in Duluth, and the heating and cooling didn’t make that loud on-off cycle we’ve had in every other hotel room. The room was a decent size for an overnight stay. The bed was firm, but that worked for us. We come to Duluth often for quick family visits, and this hotel is now at the top of our list for when we don’t stay with family. Thanks for the good service.

The location was good and the place was fairly clean, but the water came out yellow and the rooms had no temperature control. We were also allowed to smell weed throughout the hotel, while our team was threatened with being kicked out for talking and laughing in our room. They advertise themselves as a team hotel, yet made the stay miserable. We were promised a conference room, then they took it away. Staff were extremely rude and said nobody could talk or laugh. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, and we won’t be back next year. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

We’ve stayed here once before, and this time brought our dog. It’s tricky to find a spot for a dog to potty in winter in Northern Minnesota, especially with the snowplows doing things their own way. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The location is wonderful for getting around Duluth, parking is great, and breakfast has everything you need. Our room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our daughter especially loves the pool, and thinks the view of the mall is really cool. We’ll definitely return.

The pool was 72°, which felt very cold, and it made us leave a couple of days early. The rest of the hotel was kept clean and tidy by the staff, and our room was clean and well stocked.
