Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Ne Gwinnett Sugar Loaf

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and bug free. Still, I was disappointed, especially since this was a birthday present for my 72-year-old, handicapped mom. The pool and hot tub both need a good scrub, and the lifts don't work. Drafty windows have mold starting around the edges, and the thin walls let us hear the eight rooms adjoining ours, plus every room down the hall. Better windows and some wall insulation could make this a great hotel.

Hylan at the bar made the atmosphere even better with friendly, attentive service and great conversation. The drinks were spot on, and Hylan is clearly passionate about the work. Briana at the front desk was just as good: welcoming and professional, with a warm manner and an eye for details that made check-in easy. People like Briana and Hylan turn a regular stay into a memorable one. I'll be back because of them!

We had a relaxing, enjoyable stay, and the spacious Governor’s Suite was spotless and very comfortable. Its jacuzzi was a great bonus, since many hotels don't have one. The part we'll remember most is how Rick and Jenice helped us: my husband lost his wedding band in the jacuzzi, Rick found it, and Jenice called us right away with the good news. We're so grateful for their kindness and integrity. The caring staff and excellent service exceeded our expectations. We'll absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We were chatting quietly with a group of hockey parents in the hotel lobby last night when Metro Atlanta or Alpharetta police came in. They said they'd been ordered to trespass us if we didn't go to our rooms, and would have to issue a trespass if we didn't disperse. The front desk woman hadn't even warned us. She could have asked one parent to tell the rest of us, but called the police instead. We weren't loud, and we're obviously harmless, approachable people, not a bunch of bikers. BOOOOOO to this hotel!
