What made the stay especially nice was the staff. Jamika was gracious and excellent when we needed help. Berlin sorted out an unexpected reservation change and reassured me everything was fine, and Yolanda’s cheerful, helpful attitude brightened my day. The rest of the team were polite and friendly too. We had a clean, spacious, quiet first-floor suite, with plenty of parking. Breakfast and coffee were standard Residence Inn fare, and most of the available luggage racks worked properly. The suite didn’t have an oven, which seems to be the new standard at Residence Inn’s, despite our having stayed at many. Life is good when you get a good night’s sleep on a massive road trip.

Getting to our room was a pain because it was in the far building, and the hotel layout is strange. The room was dark and dingy. The TV was tiny and set to “eco mode,” so it wasn’t bright enough to see. The shower had dirt and mold on the shampoo holder and in the corner, and there was almost no water pressure at either the shower or sink. I won’t stay here again.

I was here for a work trip, and it feels homey and comfortable even though my job has my team here for 160 days. The hotel is clean and spacious, and the service is fantastic. My TV wasn’t working, so the front desk sent Cliff up. He was awesome, had it fixed in minutes, and even recommended a movie. It was a 10/10. The staff are amazing.

The other guests were the only real issue. They seemed very self-absorbed, or just inconsiderate, having loud conversations and slamming doors in the hallways. The staff were all great, and management was extremely friendly and accommodating.
