The food was a hit, and so many guests told us how lovely the house was. We held our daughter's wedding reception at Barrington House a few weeks ago, and it was a wonderful day. Chris, the general manager, handled everything we asked for in the run-up and made it happen without fuss. The staff were friendly and professional, and the house looked beautiful. You can see its age in places, but that adds to its southern manor charm. If you want something with more character than a standard banquet hall, this is a great choice. We'd happily return for another event.

We've stayed at the Barrington Inn and enjoyed both the visit and breakfast. We've also been to Barrington House several times, and we've had a good time on every visit. The house has kept its beauty, and the staff are attentive. Chris is especially friendly. From appetizers through the main course, the food has always been great, and we've never been disappointed.

Chris, the owner, guided us through the whole process and was a big help. The Barrington House itself is beautiful, and the food was delicious. My wife and I had our wedding reception there and had a great time. Our guests have told us they enjoyed it too. I'd highly recommend it as a reception venue. You won't be disappointed.

We return to The Barrington House every year for our anniversary and stay at the B&B. We also have dinner there whenever we get the chance, and it's delicious. My husband even held a surprise 30th birthday party for me there. Our own wedding and reception took place at The Barrington House in December of 2006, and it was enchanting. Everything about the day felt perfect. Chris, the innkeeper, is kind and always willing to help. Whether you're planning a wedding or another special event, hoping for a getaway, or just in the mood for a fabulous meal, this place is amazing. You won't be disappointed.

We went on a weekday, when the price was lower, and had the whole house to ourselves. The historic look they've worked to preserve is awesome, and the indoor and outdoor speakers were great for listening to music. Chris, our innkeeper, made every effort to see that we had what we needed and wanted. The $140 extra for the candlelight five-course dinner was worth every dime. I can't say enough about the atmosphere, the accommodations, and Chris. We'll definitely be back!
