After work each day, I had everything I needed to make dinner in the well-stocked kitchen, and that little organic grocery store downstairs made shopping easy. The apartment was spotless and nicely decorated, with huge rooms, very comfortable beds, and plush robes in the closets. It was a great home base for a long work trip, with downtown close enough to explore on foot. I’m already looking forward to coming back for a ski trip this winter.

We only stayed one night, but it felt like a luxury getaway. There’s plenty of natural light, and the rooms are huge. Being right in historic downtown Wausau made it easy to find things to do within walking distance.

The hosts were a pleasure, and this place was a welcome change from stays we’ve had before. It feels warm and is decorated just right, with big bedrooms and really comfortable beds. A hidden gem in a fantastic spot right in the heart of downtown. I posted a few photos.
