The Angler Lodge

Communication was easy, and the rooms were fresh, very clean, and nicely decorated. The TV was a good size and the beds were comfortable. We visit Dunsmir from time to time, and this will be our first choice for a place to stay.

After a 12-hour drive, I got there around 8pm and had no trouble at all getting into my room. Staff were kind and courteous, with excellent service, and had texted my room number and door code ahead of time. The lodge allows pets, but my room showed no visible or smelly signs of them. It was spacious and had a cute fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker with coffee. The fridge was bigger than most hotel fridges. Thanks for a nice stay.

The 2BR unit we rented was an amazing find. It had been completely renovated, was very well designed, and was better than many higher-star places we've stayed. There were lots of amenities, including a large fridge, microwave, excellent bathroom, and useful modern electronics. Check-in and check-out were both really easy. If we're in the area, we'll DEFINITELY stay here again.

We were only here for an overnight stop on a road trip, but it was much better than we expected from a 2-star hotel. The town looked cute, with small restaurants nearby, and it was very quiet, though we didn't have time to explore. The room was spacious, with a comfortable king bed, seating area, thoughtful design details, and it was dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Everything was handled by text, including check-in, and the staff responded when we had questions. The door code made getting into the room easy, and parking right outside kept things simple. Great value for a short stay. We'd come back.
