I’m an Elite member and usually enjoy Marriott Courtyard hotels. I had a great time at two of them in Florida in March, with fabulous hotels and very nice staff. This one, though, had an attitude about my asthma. I called in the morning on Sunday, May 3, and asked them not to spray my room heavily with air freshener. The hotel was fairly empty, but they said management requires every room to be sprayed every day, no matter what, and wouldn’t accommodate me. I was also charged $6 for a bottle of water I didn’t drink. I skip room water when I see a price tag. When I called about removing the charge, Maritza said the manager had personally checked every room on May 4 and recorded any opened bottles. I hadn’t opened mine, and I’m skeptical the manager personally went into that room that day. I’ve filed a formal complaint. That’s not how a loyal Bonvoy member should be treated, and I wonder whether other guests are being charged for water they never drank.

Kjol gives top tier service, and Mena has been tremendously helpful too. The staff are welcoming, and I really appreciate the way they treat people here. The Atlanta Marriott Perimeter location feels like a home away from home to me, and it’s one of the best places to book a stay. If you’re looking for a Marriott, choose this location.

I spent one night here on April 10 and had a pleasant stay. The staff were easy to work with and very friendly, and the room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the AC wouldn’t go below 75 degrees, so the room felt a little warm. Still, it’s a well kept hotel in a great Atlanta location, close to everything without being too crowded or busy. I’d stay again and recommend it.

I just spoke with Jenny, and she was so sweet and nice. Bad weather threw my reservation into a jam after my company moved the event to March. Jenny stayed calm and helped me cancel without a penalty, then rebooked me under our company block with the same reservation number. She’s a real credit to this location.

We had a pleasant weekend stay in September 2025, and I’d come back. The room was clean, the fridge worked, and the shower had hot water. We got the high floor we’d requested, and the ice machine was working. The pool was nice, though I’d hoped it would connect to the indoor half. The mattresses were very firm, too firm for me, but still acceptable. Staff were friendly enough, and the place didn’t smell bad. It was well located for what we were doing. There were no bedbugs. My only complaint was the elevators. They seemed old, and there didn’t seem to be enough for all the floors.
