Oak Tree Inn

We ended up staying here unexpectedly on Nov 26th and 27th after hitting a deer on the way home. The hotel is older, but both rooms we used were very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. They also had nice flat screen TV's, a refrigerator, and a microwave. I saw absolutely no bugs, despite what a previous review said. I check the bed bug registry site too, and honestly would have slept outside if I’d seen one. For what we paid, it was worth the money.

The staff were nice at check-in, but I woke up in the morning with a bed bug crawling on my face. Management said they’d just gotten new beds and that it couldn’t be possible. They didn’t try to compensate me for the hassle of quarantining my things when I got home. Keep driving.

For $64.00 a night, our king room was cleaner and had better amenities than the La Quinta where we’d stayed the night before for $120.00. The hotel was very clean and the customer service was great. We should have looked for one of these while passing through Pensacola.

Right off the interstate, so the location was good. Registration service was good too. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, though there weren’t many blankets on it and we needed extra. There was just one pillow per guest.
