The room smelled like piss, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and stink bugs were in every corner. There was trash all over outside, with people smoking and yelling. We didn’t stay at all and left immediately. Absolutely disgusting.

Monica at the front desk is always welcoming, kind, and helpful. She’s calm and professional, patient and attentive, and makes you feel looked after without being overbearing. Nikki, the General Manager, is just as impressive. Since she stepped in, the hotel feels more positive and efficient, and everything seems organized and well kept. She clearly cares about guests and staff. The customer service from both Monica and Nikki stands out, and you can tell they take pride in their work. They’ve helped make this a welcoming, well-managed hotel. Both women are doing an outstanding job and honestly deserve a raise. I wanted to take a moment to recognize them for making my stay more than pleasant.

For a single middle-aged male traveler, this was perfect for the price. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, and the check-in staff were pleasant. There was a full-size fridge with freezer, a microwave, and a TV, though no phone or alarm clock. Some families apparently live in some of the units, and I could hear people outside and conversations until 2:00 a.m., when I had to leave for the airport. I didn’t take off stars because it was still a great value. The location is convenient to the airport, Dollar Tree, and Food Lion, with plenty of places to eat nearby. A brand-new Golden Corral was also getting ready to open within the next month.

The upstairs families and kids were stomping ON PURPOSE and making noise, which made me afraid. There was mildew built up in the AC, and the pillows smelled like urine. Roaches were everywhere, and the rooms were dirty. This is a slum, and the online pictures are a lie. The nastiest place EVER! DO NOT STAY HERE!! You have been warned!!
