We booked two nights for a university graduation, but left after the first because the rooms were so uncomfortable. It was a good distance from the university. I wasn't sure the location was safe, either. The room had roaches, a torn chair, a broken microwave, and several lights that didn't work. There were cracks in the shower corners, an odor from the sink, and a musty smell in the room. Even though we had to leave early because of the poorly maintained accommodation, Royal Inn didn't refund the unused night.

The room itself was okay, and the AC, fridge, and microwave all worked. There was no water or coffee, and the room smelled bad. The stairs and doors looked old and damaged, and outside didn't seem safe. No ice machines, either.

This feels like a low two-star inn. There's no daily room service, and the place is in poor shape, with ceiling leaks and bad maintenance. The environment is unpleasant, and no breakfast was available.

The cigarette smell in the room made my nose and eyes burn, and there were cigarette holes in the bed. The bathroom light didn't work, and the front desk customer service was ridiculous. After seeing the second room, which was worse than the first, I immediately called Expedia to ask for my money back. They said the manager claimed I'd been there over an hour and wouldn't refund me. I'm still fighting to get my money back, so please don't stay at this disastrous hotel. Honestly, don't book through Expedia. They don't back their customers with pictures. I wish I'd had Smell-O-Gram, but I didn't. This was the worst hotel in the universe. You'd be better off outside in a graveyard.
