For the price, having a tub with jets for two, listed as a hot tub, is a nice perk. The room was clean, and I checked for bedbugs and didn't find any. But the bed in room 116 is hard as a rock, and getting the hair dryer onto its high setting was a struggle. The USB-C port by the lamp on the right side of the bed wouldn't keep my phone charged. The mini fridge didn't work at first, though they replaced it the next day.

The replacement room near the lobby was a relief. It had been updated and was much better, though the mattress was still cheap and creaky on a metal frame, so it made a lot of noise. The TV was tricky to turn on too. Breakfast, according to my husband, was frozen waffles, toast, and coffee. The hallways smelled, and loud, rude guests or workers kept us up, so we left the TV on as background noise for the twins. I'm glad they moved us, but I still wouldn't come back. Our original room was much worse than the cringe photos I'd seen online. It smelled like cigarettes, looked like stepping into the 80s, and the AC immediately put out a fart and mildew smell. Only two countertops looked updated. The couch and chairs were so gross I wouldn't put our car seats on them. When I checked for bugs, I found a loose fitted sheet with no mattress protector over a filthy mattress. The fan in the photo looked coated in orange cigarette residue. Nasty. I went to the front desk with two photos and demanded an upgrade or my money back, saying we'd leave otherwise. The office guy asked what was wrong, but interrupted me halfway through my list and said he'd show us another room.

With my five-year-old hungry, we went down for breakfast around 8:30 a.m. and found almost nothing left except a few slices of bread. There was no jam, milk for cereal, or utensils. When my husband asked if more food was coming, the front desk officer said he hadn't noticed what was missing. That felt like a complete lack of care, especially with a young child there. During our stay, the officer sat inside the office with a note attached to the counter. Several customers rang the bell and waited, but he never came out to help. I'm really disappointed with both the breakfast service and the way the front door was staffed. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the service and staff attentiveness.

The rooms were filthy, with lots of gnats and a moldy carpet. When I told the receptionist it wasn't okay to pay $110 for a room full of dirt and garbage, they got upset. The reception staff were also rude, cursed at customers, and came into rooms without knocking, saying it was their hotel. Please avoid this place. I wouldn't bring children here because of the gnats. You could end up in the hospital with your kids. I don't recommend it, it's a ruin.
