Camino Real Hotel Eagle Pass

The room had plenty of space, and the bed was roomy too. The shower got hot. It's a bit dated, but clean, and I'd stay again.

The owners were remarkably attentive whenever I came in, early or late. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was pretty minimal, but it was quiet and the rates were reasonable. The outside looked a little sketchy at first, though it turned out to be fine. This small hotel was a lovely surprise in Eagle Pass, and I'd happily return.

The bathroom was spotless, the pillows comfy, and even the sheets smelled clean, like bleach. I'm very picky, and the whole place seemed cared for. I asked to look at the room before checking in, and they let me see it right away. You could smell how clean it was. The rooms are inside the building, and it has an old-school feel with an actual key. The husband was friendly and really nice. I only took off a star because I had called the day before to reserve, but they didn't have my name when I arrived. They still accommodated us, and I'd stay again. Thanks.

My family and I couldn't find another hotel nearby with space, so we ended up here, and it was awful. The odor hit as soon as we opened the entrance door. I thought maybe someone had just warmed food in the microwave, but it was still there in the morning, and much worse in our room. The smell seemed to have soaked into everything. I couldn't sleep because it was so bad, even though things looked clean. The place seemed haunted by that odor, and management was very poor. There were bed bugs too.
