Quality Inn & Suites Vail Valley

The rooms were really comfortable, everything was very clean, and the view outside was lovely. I had absolutely no issues and would definitely stay again if I’m ever passing through Eagle. The night desk lady, Danielle, is a great employee. Coming from one choice employee to another, I really appreciated her. Thank you!

Danielle at the front desk was delightful. She clearly loves her job and the people she works with, had very nice things to say about everyone, and gave us helpful dinner ideas. The lobby and parking lot were clean, and we felt very safe. Our room smelled nice, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. Breakfast had lots of choices, including gluten-free options. The hot tub and pool were clean and warm. It was a nice surprise to have a Kroger next door with everything we needed, and the airport is seven miles away. We’ll always stay here when we come to Eagle. Thanks for a lovely visit.

The staff were very friendly, and I had a great experience. The bed was comfortable, and both the sheets and pillows smelled really nice. My first impression walking into the room was how pleasant it smelled, and the room was very clean.

I chose not to stay here, and I wouldn’t trust the hotel with my information or with an honest account of its property. When I entered the lobby, a large unleashed dog was roaming freely. It went behind the check-in counter and rubbed its backside on the carpet. That made me uncomfortable for hygiene and safety reasons. I swore when I saw it because I’ve been attacked by a dog before and was startled, not because I was being “aggressive.” My family had made a multi-party reservation through a third-party site, so I called them and asked them to cancel it immediately. As I left, the same dog ran from an exit at the far end of the building, right in front of my vehicle. I nearly hit it. The hotel first said no dog had been in the lobby, that I had only come in for ice and a restroom, and that I “became verbally aggressive” when refused the restroom. They also said there was no reservation under my party. On 11/21, after I uploaded photos of the dog outside the hotel, I clarified that the reservation was real, that I’d given the front desk the details to find it, and that my reaction was fear. The hotel then changed its account, saying the dog existed but had been “asleep behind the counter” and wasn’t in the lobby, while still denying the reservation. On 11/22, I explained that the dog had access to the first floor, lobby, and exit area, which is how it could run down the hallway and out a distant door. The space behind the counter isn’t fully enclosed, and a large opening leads into the lobby. On 11/23, I noted that the hotel had edited its response again, removing or changing statements after I addressed them with evidence. It now says it never changed its statement. The pattern seemed clear to me: first they said there was no dog, then changed the story after I provided evidence; they kept denying the reservation despite the information I’d given at the desk; and they accused me of lying while repeatedly editing their own account when earlier points were disproven. The hotel has a strict no-pets policy for guests, yet its own large dog was loose and unattended, ran the length of the property, and went into the parking lot in front of moving vehicles. Guests can’t bring pets, but their dog was roaming freely. The problem was the loose dog, the shifting explanations, the denial of things shown in photos, the refusal to acknowledge the reservation, and the different standard for their own dog. 11/20 was when I first posted my review.
