Breakfast was just right, and my room was comfortable and nicely equipped. Pecco and Gail were kind, welcoming hosts, and they let me leave my luggage in the room a bit longer after checkout until I headed out the next day. I only stayed one night at the Highland Lake Inn, but had a lovely time. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Andover, New Hampshire area.

The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, and the tea was great too. Pecco and Gail made the stay fun with their humor and warm hospitality. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and it’s a short drive from Ragged Mountain, which worked perfectly for snowboarding. I felt at home as soon as I arrived and would love to come back.

Knowing our out-of-town guests were comfortable, well fed, and getting to know one another in a cozy setting let my husband and me focus on our wedding. Gail and Pecco, the owners of the Highland Lake Inn, took such wonderful care of everyone that weekend. Every guest told us how lovely the inn was and how welcoming the hosts were. Having them stay there was the second-best decision we made that weekend. Marrying my gorgeous, brilliant, beautiful husband came first!

Across from the lake and just steps from a nice hiking trail, the location was lovely. I was there for a conference at Proctor, about 10 minutes away, and Pecco and Gail even helped me get to and from it and made sure I had what I needed. They felt like adopted grandparents for the weekend. The inn was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delightful. Highland Lake Inn is wonderful, and Pecco and Gail are extraordinary.
