The Dorset Inn

The village was quiet and lovely, and after walking in the snow we could relax by a roaring fire. Our room was beautiful, the bed comfy, and the food delicious. It had so much Vermont charm. I’ll be back!

The food was wonderful, and the staff were charming and helpful. They made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. From the reservation to the follow-up, everything was handled smoothly. This was hospitality at its best, and I’d recommend staying at least two nights. The inn was beautiful, lovingly cared for, and decorated for Christmas with a graceful nod to old traditions. Every room felt cozy and memorable. I’ve stayed at many inns in the Northeast, and this was the finest historically.

We loved ThenDorset Inn and can’t wait to come back. It’s full of charm, and the staff are wonderful. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We ate in the Tavern, where the food and drinks were delicious, and breakfast each morning was lovely too.

The Dorset Inn feels like a home away from home, and the staff are a big part of that. They’ve been there on each visit, and greet us with such warmth, like they’re truly glad to see us. That friendliness comes from the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping teams. We’ve become fond of them and try to learn their names so we can greet them personally. It’s also a beautiful, inviting place to stay. Anyone wanting to take in Vermont’s beauty and warmth should spend a few nights here.
