The location was good, but I won’t stay here again. Staff were completely unavailable after 6:30 pm and on weekends. Our flight was delayed and we arrived at night, so we had to find another hotel for that night. They did remove that night from our reservation. On the night we wanted to watch TV, there was no remote, and we couldn’t get one until Monday. There was no shampoo, soap, or conditioner either, just the bare minimum.
The area is okay and it’s very close to Highway 5, but parking is a real problem. The lot is tiny, so I had to park on the street and risk a tow or citation, or go park in the alley if I was worried about being towed. There’s no private bathroom; guests from several rooms share one, and the building smells bad. The sink in the room was very dirty. You can hear the next-door bed squeaking when the neighbors are having sex. There’s no maintenance if you plan to stay two nights or more.
I canceled my reservation two hours before arrival after seeing the place and hearing from people who rent there, and it sounded bad. They refused to refund my seven-day stay and claimed I was a no-show. Don’t book through Expida or any hotel reservation service. They don’t answer calls or honor notices, and lie to take your money.
This place is no good. The power keeps cutting out, and there’s no free Wi-Fi because they never want to reset the box. The restrooms are dirty. There are lots of odd people staying here, people fighting, and random people wandering the halls staring at me. It’s a horrible place.
Great place for the price! Don’t let the shared bathroom put you off. If you’re fine using a public restroom, these nice studio rooms make a good apartment for a week or two. 👍👍
