Aderi Hotel Niantic

At Aderi Hotel, we had a clean, comfortable room that stayed quiet, and the fridge and microwave came in handy. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. Great value for this area, and I'd stay again.

The location was nice, but the place itself felt dirty from the moment we arrived. The lobby was grimy, the blinds were brown and cracked, and there was food and trash on the floor. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. I mentioned how dirty it was to my wife on the way to the second floor, and she agreed. The manager said the cleaning lady had worked there for 25 years, but the room didn't look clean either. We were there for two minutes before leaving. There was visible dirt on the carpet, trash under the bed, and the bathroom was just as bad. I wouldn't stay here again. It was so dirty I think the hotel should be closed for health violations.

My room was clean, and the staff were very helpful. Stop and Shop and Starbucks are within five minutes, and the hotel is also close to the casino. I'd stay here again when I'm in the area.

The property is beautiful and sits in a really nice setting, and the front desk employees were great. But the room needed a proper dusting and a thorough vacuum, especially in the corners where there were toenails, food, and other things. The bed linen wasn't clean, and the pillows still smelled like other guests, so I didn't use them. The toilet lever and seat needed repairs. The interior is dated, but it could have potential if someone took care of it. I work for a hotel too, and even though we need a renovation, we work extra hard to keep rooms clean. The TV here barely got any channels, and many of them froze. I hope this helps, since what the property needs is care.
