Hampton Inn Chattanooga East Ridge

After a long day of driving, I could take a nice walk past several appealing places to eat. This Hampton Inn is in a really convenient area, and it’s going to be one of my favorite stops. Brittani checked me in, recognized my Hilton Reward status, and was friendly and helpful. She said she’d be on duty until 11, and I appreciated knowing she’d be there if I needed anything. The room was perfect, one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Great place.

The trip was canceled because of the weather, and the hotel made it very easy to cancel the reservation. When we rescheduled, I called again to let them know a bus was coming, and everyone was helpful and easy to work with. I’d first called to confirm parking for our school bus, since we were planning a trip. Everyone was great on the phone, and service was even better once we arrived. The hotel was super clean, friendly, and wonderful. Day shift, night shift, GM, everyone was awesome!

The staff were very nice, and breakfast was alright, with enough to do the job but not many choices. We stayed two nights while driving across states and used two different rooms. Both were fairly clean at a glance, but had problems when you looked closely: filthy walls, dried food on carpets that hadn’t been vacuumed well, stained chairs and pillows, and hair and mold in the showers. The sheets and towels were clean, and it wasn’t horrible, but for almost $200 a night I really wish the rooms had been cleaner.

Jesse made our stay perfect. She was the first person to greet us, and her cheerful, efficient welcome set a great tone. The room was just right, from the bedding to the temperature.
