Austin was a wonderful host, and he makes a mean waffle. I also liked that they use maple syrup grown and made locally. There were breakfast options including yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and waffles. The bathroom in my room seems to have been completely renovated recently, and the whole room was clean. I stayed just one night, but can safely recommend the place to anyone coming to the area. Thanks again, Austin, for all the effort you’ve clearly put into making it a pleasant stay.

The owner made us feel welcome, learned our names, and took time to get to know us. We spent four nights at The Meadowlark Inn and will definitely return. Both of our rooms were spacious, neat, and tidy, with two queens in each. They had fresh, clean linens and towels, plus hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Each morning brought continental breakfast with fresh-made waffles if you wanted them, breads, cereals, oatmeal, granola, fruit, yogurt, and plenty of coffee. Try the neighboring farm’s maple syrup on a waffle. The farm country around here is gorgeous. We could hear Amish buggies clip-clopping past and wanted to stop at every charming roadside stand for homemade treats.

The Meadowlark was in a really quiet area, and its location worked perfectly for the festival we were attending near Cooperstown. My friend and I stayed for the weekend and had a 10/10 experience. Austin, the owner, was great and extremely helpful. We heard he makes a mean waffle breakfast, but unfortunately didn’t get to try it. It’s definitely on the checklist for our next visit. I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and we’ll be back!

Beautiful views, good sleep, good times, and new friends made The Meadowlark Inn feel like home. The innkeeper brings local businesses into breakfast and the other conveniences, and Austin is great with recommendations for the area. He works hard to make your stay a good one. I’ll definitely be back soon :)

The innkeeper rocks, and the local food options are delicious. There’s plenty of lovely scenery and things to do nearby, and this would be a great place for a family reunion or just a day or two. On site, you can play baseball, ping pong, try ax throwing, or relax in a hammock. There’s also a covered pavillion with picnic tables and bbq grills. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, a nice spot to rest and recharge. Breakfast was something to look forward to, with homemade waffles, fresh berries, and homemade maple syrup. The Meadowlark Inn is amazing, way more than a hotel, and an unforgettable experience.
