You really don't need a car here. Shops and restaurants start a block away, there's a grocery store nearby, Walmart delivery was easy, and Walgreens is just around the corner. The town is adorable, clean, and safe, and everyone was friendly. We had different food every night, with so many choices. Sea Spray Inn sits right across from a wonderful beach, with soft sand. It felt almost like a private beach at times. Our one-bedroom suite was perfect for my husband, me, and our three-year-old. It was clean and comfortable, and the charming inn has a lovely new pool. They provide daily towel service, beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole six-day stay was fabulous, and we've already booked for next year. Highly recommend for a family.

The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and quiet. The pool was always cool and refreshing, and the beach is an easy walk away. They had plenty of towels and toiletries. Absolutely amazing, we'll stay again!

If you're after a laid-back beach town that feels like stepping back into the 1960s in a good way, Lauderdale By The Sea is the spot, and we plan to stay at Sea Spray Inn on our next visit. We've tried several places on El Mar Drive because we love the area. The inn is in the center of Lauderdale By The Sea, with ocean access across the street and the pier, shops, and restaurants a block away. It was quiet and calm day and night. The property is quaint and well maintained, with several buildings, multiple pools, and a hot tub. The pool is a nice size and not too deep for small kids, so it seems great for families. Guests can use the laundry facilities for free. Cindy, the manager, was friendly, helpful, and available whenever needed. Maintenance was there daily for cleaning and upkeep. Our spacious room was clean, and the kitchen had the basics, plus a welcome basket with coffee, condiments, cookies, and pretzels. A vacation to remember.

As usual, the room was nice and clean, the pool area spotless, and the staff friendly. Still our first choice for a stay in LBTD.
