Bill was a terrific host and made sure we had what we needed. We booked through hotels.com, though I think you can use Airbnb or something else too. When we wanted to add two days but our room wasn’t available, he worked out some schedule adjustments for us. The room had plenty of space for four and lots of beach gear, including chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and towels. There’s a washer and dryer on site, and the quiet courtyard was a nice place to sit and relax. The location worked perfectly, with easy beach access and a five minute walk to groceries and downtown Lauderdale by the sea, where there are restaurants and shops.

Bill was terrific, and we can’t wait to return to La Mer. It’s a quiet, laid-back place in a great spot, with an easy walk to the “Square”, grocery store, beach, gift shops, and dining. Our room had just been remodeled and was clean. The kitchenette had everything we needed for a few meals.

Bill was quick to respond whenever I needed anything during my visit, and the beach is very close. I had a really nice stay at La Mer and would happily choose it again.

Bill was a great host, checking in to see how we were and whether we needed anything. His place had everything we needed, and we could get around quickly on foot to the shops, beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. Such a great spot in Lauderdale by the Sea. 10/10, we’ll be back. Thanks again!

Bill was helpful, and check-in and parking were easy. La Mer Suites has simple rooms with what you need for a short or long stay in Lauderdale-by-the-sea. It’s a quick walk to the tourist area’s restaurants and bars. The location also means you can reach the beach and town easily without hearing the busy street noise.
