Horizon By The Sea Inn

This was our third stay, and we’d happily come back again. We were there for a week starting Dec. 31st. The short walk to the beach and Anglin Square, with its busy restaurants and shops, makes the location hard to beat. Valentina and Melissa were friendly and helpful, always happy to answer questions or share local tips. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, a peaceful and convenient place to unwind after being out. Good value, too.

Valentina at the front desk was so helpful with every request, and the staff were great. The rooms were clean, and it’s a two minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops in lauderdale by the sea. I’ll definitely come back.

I called the hotel number after this happened and still haven’t got an answer. I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank. Before booking, I’d called to confirm I had the right website and that someone would check us in after our 11pm flight. On the day we flew, I called four times and got no answer. With my two small kids, we reached Horizon by the Seas to find the door locked, lights off, and a paper on the door with a number to call. I called several times and texted, but couldn’t get in. We drove around for an hour trying to find somewhere available. Thank goodness we had a Turo car; without it we’d have been stuck on the roadside with the kids, unable to find a place. We finally got a room somewhere else at 2am.

The sunrise lighting and the turquoise beds around the pool made such a relaxing atmosphere for me. My husband and I found this Inn beautiful and romantic, with the beach across the street. We’re already planning to return in 2026 for our 27th wedding anniversary. Can’t wait.
