Ramada Limited Biloxi/Ocean Springs

The staff were amazing and breakfast was great. My only issues were the tub, which looked a bit dirty, and the door, which didn't seem secure. Even after closing and latching it, I could see light around it and it had some play. I reported that to the staff. The tub isn't a deal breaker for me, since I clean hotel tubs myself whether they look dirty or squeaky clean.

We had to deal with a tornado warning and couldn't even get a clear answer about where guests should take cover. When we asked, the response was, "I don't know and I will have to call the GM to ask." I want to know where I can shelter and survive a tornado, especially as an employee, with so many tornadoes coming through in recent days. Mobile had three in 24 hours. My boyfriend brought up the problems we'd already reported the night before at checkout, but they said there were no notes on the account or room. We weren't going to spend more time trying to get anyone to listen. The bathroom ventilation was poor, with mold painted over. There appeared to be urine sprayed on the wall between the toilet and shower, and I have photos. The fan smelled like it might catch fire and did nothing. The TV remote didn't work, even after we tried two remotes, so we were stuck on the Disney channel and couldn't watch the weather. The couch pullout was like a futon, nowhere near the advertised queen bed, and wouldn't fit anyone over five feet. I still plan to upload the photos from my boyfriend's phone. : / If all you need is a place to sleep and you don't care about mild or gross bathrooms or whether the TV works...

The free continental breakfast was exceptional, with waffles you could make yourself, lots of bagels and pastries, and good coffee. The morning desk staff were very nice too. In the room, the microwave was handy, the shower had great pressure and very hot water, and the towels were fluffy. But the rooms are old, smell bad, and need renovating, or at least fresh paint and new carpet. The beds were uncomfortable.

The place was a mess from remodeling, the pool was closed, and there was no breakfast. We arrived to find the room door propped open, with food and trash still on the floor, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned. Next door, people argued loudly outside, and I needed a sleeping pill to get to sleep. At checkout, two employees had an attitude. One asked if I'd left a cash deposit, and after I said yes, she accused me of having an attitude when I didn't. It went downhill from there, and they refused to return my $50 cash deposit. There was no paper trail. I feel like this is one way they rip off guests. At check-in, an employee already had an attitude, then told me about the $50 cash deposit, something I hadn't been told when I made the reservation. I'd sleep in my car before staying here again. Don't waste your time or money.
