Playa Aqualina

We'd stay here again. The hosts are a nice couple, and everything was well looked after. There are beach towels in the room, chairs are easy to get, and a small table has a book and sun lotion in case you need them. The pool area is nice, with a BBQ everyone can use.

The owners and managers are lovely and clearly care about their guests and the property. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and tastefully decorated, and they had all the little things we might need, from utensils and plates to coffee, towels, salt, and pepper. The location is ideal for walking to the beach, downtown Lauderdale by the Sea, publix, and more. It's right on Ocean drive, but the gated Pool/BBQ area feels private and relaxing. Beach chairs and towels are available, and there's a little library by the pool plus a station with lotions and sunblock. I've stayed at several other places in the area, but this was my first time here. I can't think of anything bad to say. The owners keep the place in great shape and are available if you need them. I'll definitely come back. 5 stars!

The quiet, polite guests made it easy to relax, and the location meant we could walk everywhere. The beach is close, but we also had the swimming pool just outside our door. The rooms were so clean thanks to Maria and Chris, who kept everything in order. Their kindness made the place feel like a second home. Whenever I needed something, Chris and Maria were quick to help. There's even a sunscreen station by the pool in case you get burnt. I'll be returning.

We've stayed in different places in the area before, but this was our first time here. It's a hidden gem and a great choice for a short or long stay. The owners were so kind and welcoming that it felt like a second home. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated, and there are different room sizes. The location is great, close to the beach and plenty of delicious restaurants we got to try. We'll be back soon!
