Homewood Suites by Hilton Syracuse - Carrier Circle

During the snowmageddon in January 2026, the hotel kept serving a full breakfast every morning as if it were business as usual, even with NY buried in snow. The staff were amazing and accommodating, and I’m sure some of them stayed overnight. They still remained pleasant and professional. We had a mid-stay scramble when the snow changed our travel plans and I forgot to extend our booking. We’d driven to Rochester for a customer appointment on the day we were due to check out. I messaged the hotel just 10 minutes before checkout, and they extended our stay on the spot. Great customer service, clean rooms, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The location is quiet and clean, the security locks all work, and there are several dining options about 10-15 minutes away. The front desk staff were helpful and polite. My room was clean, but the bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. I went for breakfast at 9 am, with the wall saying breakfast ran until 10. While I was getting food, the attendant intentionally turned off the light, started carrying food back into the kitchen, and banged the pans around. It felt rude and unwelcoming.

I’ve stayed here several times and will definitely come back. Our room was immaculate, the beds and furniture were comfortable, the electronics worked as expected, and the kitchenette was very nice. Some staff were polite but a bit perfunctory. The daytime clerk was much warmer. That was the only negative.

We stopped here for one night on the way from Mississauga to New York. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there was good parking. Service beyond that was minimal. They only serve breakfast in the morning, then the kitchen closes, and there’s no bar service.
