The basement was a surprise, bright and lovely, with two wine rooms, a workout room, and a hidden tunnel that may date back to the Underground Railroad days. Glenda welcomed us graciously and showed me the whole B&B, though I didn't stay overnight. I love history, and walking through the house felt like stepping into the past, with traces of the people and former owners who had been there. Upstairs, the parlor, library, and dining room felt cozy, and the furnishings and wallpaper seemed full of stories. The second-floor rooms were spacious, pretty, clean, and the bathrooms spotless. One room has a full jacuzzi tub, and there were thoughtful hallway touches like water. The third floor is a private suite that would suit a family of four, with its own bathroom and access to a widow's walk for views in every direction. It has plenty of historical character without feeling creepy, and the innkeepers clearly take good care of it. I hope I can stay here myself someday.

I really enjoyed my time here and would love to come back. The garden out back has lots of places to wander, sit, relax, or read, which makes the stay feel peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, too. The building itself is the draw if you appreciate historic places: beautiful woodwork, lovely furniture from another era, and real craftsmanship.

After an event, I came here to unwind. The bed was cozy, the owner was welcoming, and there’s a beautiful garden. I asked for a gluten-free breakfast weeks ahead when I booked, and it was amazing. There are teas in the front room, and it’s nice to sit in the library with a cup. Hallway refrigerators are handy for keeping your own things without a fridge buzzing in your room at night. Parking was easy, though the entrance feels formal. Be aware there are steps into the venue and stairs up to the room, so it may not work for someone with mobility issues. I got to see most of the rooms. Each has its own personal touches, so talk with the owner about what you’re looking for.

The host was wonderful and gave us a full tour of this beautiful home. It’s been restored with great care while keeping its historic character, and it exceeded my expectations. Our room and breakfast were excellent. We’re booking again for our anniversary next year.

We stayed at Allegiance and had such a nice time. The hostess was warm and hospitable, and the house itself is grand. It’s a great choice if you enjoy history and the outdoors, with Letchworth State Park only a short distance away. Every room in the Allegiance house has its own decor and is well kept and very clean. The beds were lush and comfortable, the furnishings pretty, and the toiletries felt pampering. The homemade breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, and it was plated beautifully. We hope to visit again. If you’re considering this B&B, I hope you get to enjoy it too.
