Colonade Motel

I got more than 10 bed bug bites as soon as I lay down. Dead bugs were scattered around the filthy room, and the sheets were stained and had hair on them. The door wouldn't shut properly, and nothing seemed to have been cleaned. Staff treated me badly and said I was lying about the bugs, even though I had photos. There were hornet nests in the area too. This was the worst motel I've stayed in.

Five stars for what it is: a cheap place to sleep when life has gone sideways. Maybe you've just been evicted, need an affordable bed for a date you don't want to bring home, or want somewhere after a dispensary visit. It's a short-term spot for wayward souls, with a decent bed for the price and no lice.

The locks didn't seem reliable, the room felt old, and the bed made me itch. I also found dead bugs in the bathroom and didn't feel safe, so I left after 20 minutes. They don't give refunds. Better to stay away.

The rooms look like they're from the 1980s, and the floor was very dirty. You can't lock the door with the knob; you have to use the chain, but the door doesn't hold it properly. It seems they replace the sheets and towels after guests but don't clean the room, especially the bathroom. For close to $100, I'd stay at a different motel.
