We were pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. We thought we'd booked the other one across town, so double-check the address on your reservation. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool area was nice. We were the only ones there. Breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast, and the e-charger was a welcome surprise.
8/10
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the free 4.3 kW EV charging has four spots that are almost never in use. Breakfast is bare minimum: apples are the only fruit, no yogurt, tiny pancakes from a machine, and plain bagels in a bag with no variety.
10/10
The pool and hot tub were a real plus, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff gave great service. It was easy to get to, and felt like a great place for the whole family. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
10/10
Breakfast was the highlight. Those potatoes were so good I could've eaten a plateful, and the coffee was great too. Every motel should have a machine that grinds it fresh. The room was clean, and I'd definitely stay here again.
10/10
The breakfast area was kept stocked and clean each morning, with several options to choose from. We also had a clean little patio where we could sit and eat or relax. Inside, the room had a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, plus blackout shades that helped us sleep. There was plenty of space for our family of four, and the hideaway couch could have fit a fifth person. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the place seemed well cared for. It looked fairly new, built within the last five years. We'd stay again if we're in Eau Claire.
