Comfort Inn & Suites Edgewood

The breakfast was quite good, with biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and other choices. The woman looking after it was terrific, friendly and attentive. I didn’t care for the coffee, but it was free, so that was fine. There are plenty of other food options nearby, too. The hotel is just off I-40, about 30 minutes east of ABQ. There’s a small pool and hot tub, though both times I went, it was empty. I asked for a bathtub, which was only available on the second floor, the pet-friendly floor, and that worked out fine.

We had an unexpected event that meant we had to leave home for a while. The hotel team welcomed us and went out of their way to help my family feel safe and secure. From management to maintenance, we were greeted with smiles. Thank you to the staff and management for your patience, understanding, and support. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast, served until 9 am, had waffles, sausage, fruit, eggs, and more. The only odd thing was the tap water in the room. It tasted salty or acidic when I brushed my teeth and rinsed, so I avoided it and used the filtered water I already had in my Stanley cup. I stayed one night in Jan 2026 while driving cross-country from Phoenix, and was pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was. Of the three hotels I stayed in on that trip, this rest stop was the best. I’d stay here again.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the parking lot felt safe and was well lit. Most of the room was clean, though there was some mold in the shower, sticky bathroom floors, and stained pillow covers. If I needed a safe place to stop overnight, I’d stay here again.
