We've stayed here at least a dozen times over the last 7-8 months and I can't remember having a problem. The place is very clean, and the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Mr. Patel, Nick, Oscar and the Housekeeping Crew are the best. We also like that they don't allow pets. We have dogs ourselves and make arrangements for them when we travel, since pet-friendly hotels often aren't kept clean. We've dealt with soiled floors and fleas at those places before, so we avoid them now. Here, we never have to worry about that.

I could give cero stars, but one is the only rating I can choose. If you can, choose MOTEL 6 instead. This filthy place was one of the worst travel stays I've had. The room smelled stale and damp, with an old cigarette smell too. There were stains on the floor and a sticky film on the bedside table. The shower grout had black mold, there was lots of hair, and the thin grey towels smelled a little like mildew. We had no hot water for either day of our two-day stay, so showering was miserable. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the so-called free breakfast was stale pastries with lukewarm coffee. When we told the front desk about the hot water, the staff member just shrugged and said, "maintenance is busy." We left exhausted and feeling dirty and ripped off. This place needs a serious deep clean and staff training.

We stayed here on 11/20, and the room wasn't worth the price. It smelled like garbage, the bathroom had hair all over, and the AC was so noisy I barely slept. It was overpriced for the room quality, and never again for me. This place was worse than Motel 6 or any cheap hotel nearby. I stayed at another Wingate near the BWI airport, and it wasn't as close as this one. I regretted not paying $20 more for the La Quinta in the same area. They also kept the $50 deposit without any reason. I promise I'm not leaving this review over the refund. When I arrived, the empty parking lot made me think something was wrong. I hope this helps others find a better hotel in the area.

My son and I booked one night in room 210 after a five-hour drive with a lot of traffic, and all we wanted was to relax. I had a bad feeling as soon as we pulled in because some random guy was hanging around in the parking lot, blasting music. The hotel was outdated, which didn't bother me by itself, but the walls and elevator had dried spills on them. The remodeled room wasn't done very well, though it seemed manageable for one night. On our way out for dinner, we saw the old, stained chairs in the second-floor lobby. Back in the room, my son spotted a cockroach on his bed. I flushed it because he was freaking out. Then I found dead roaches on the floor and behind the TV stand, and could see treatment stuff by the fridge. I called the lobby for a refund, but the man offered to move us upstairs. I said no, if one room had roaches, they could be in all of them, and we were leaving. He wanted to see them, so I showed him. He said he hadn't thought I was lying, and then said they'd treated in July, though he wasn't sure where the roaches came from. We paid $126 for the night, plus a $50 refundable damage fee. It wasn't worth it. I had to contact hotels.com since I booked through them, once we'd reached another hotel. They supposedly granted the refund, but I still need to see if it shows up in my account. Looking at earlier reviews, the owner will probably try to downplay this. They should be ashamed of how dirty the hotel is and of what they charge for it.

The man at the front desk was polite and nice when I arrived around 9:30 p.m. Since I was on crutches, he gave me a room on the first floor. The lobby looked nice, but there was white stuff all down the hall to my room. A man in the next room was yelling, and a woman was talking loudly. My shower was dirty and rusty, the toilet wouldn't flush properly, and there weren't any towels to shower with. We were there for less than nine hours, just to rest our eyes, since my daughter had surgery the next day. Thank God it was only one night.
