Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham

There was a lot to like in the clean, comfortable room: a walk-in shower with plenty of towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus hand soap and lotion by the sink. The carpets were clean, the heat and AC worked properly, and there was a closet with an extra comforter. It also had charging ports for phones and laptops, wireless charging pads, a microwave, refrigerator, small desk and office chair, nightstands, and a small sitting chair. The bathroom was very clean, and the breakfast area was large with plenty to choose from. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice, though the hot tub wasn't working when we arrived, despite being told well beforehand that it was. There's a covered entrance for loading and unloading. Overall, it's a clean and comfortable hotel I'd recommend and stay at again.

The breakfast stood out most: one of the best hot buffets we've had recently, with superb omelets. It would only have been better if a chef had cooked the food in front of us. The hotel was conveniently located, clean, and well appointed. The rooms weren't elaborate, but they were comfortable and tidy. A very pleasant stay.

The prices were fair, and the breakfast had better food and a cleaner space than at other hotels. The staff were amazing, and you could tell there was good management and teamwork. I even saw the front desk associate mop after nearly every guest came in. The hotel is modernized and clean. I rarely write reviews because I'm particular, but I'd highly recommend staying here.

After a harrowing drive on icy roads, we were surprised and grateful to find a lovely, spacious room, a comfortable bed, gracious staff, and a great breakfast waiting the next morning. It felt like an oasis in the storm. This is our new favorite place to stay!
