Bay Point Inn

The bathroom was filthy, with bugs on the ceiling and all over the room. When I opened the shower curtain, a spider came flying out, and there were cobwebs on it. We’d only planned to stay one night, and the room seemed okay at first, but it was a big mistake. We stayed on June 10, 2016, after my boyfriend booked it without telling me. For what we paid, it should’ve been much cleaner. I really give it no stars, and I’m considering contacting the health department. I don’t recommend staying here.

The manager was friendly and gave us useful tips on which casinos to visit. We could check in a few hours early for an extra $20, and there’s a refundable $10 deposit for the key and remote. Our room was small, but clean, with a fridge, microwave, A/C, and a large Sony flat-screen TV with lots of cable channels. It was reasonably priced compared with nearby hotels and the ones by the AC Boardwalk. A good affordable choice for one night, about 15 minutes from the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

The price is hard to beat, and on my first visit the place was surprisingly clean. The rugs, bed, and furniture looked new, and the bathroom, though outdated, worked fine. The shower had good pressure and hot water. But I went back two weeks later and it felt like a completely different place. The carpet smelled awful and there were bugs. Sorry about my first review, I won’t return.

The room was disgusting, with insects everywhere, including spiders and moths. The bathroom was dirty too, with someone’s hair on the tiles. The microwave was filthy and didn’t work, and neither did the refrigerator. For one night, it cost $172, plus a $10 deposit for the key and remote. You have to return them to get the deposit back. I regret booking here and wouldn’t recommend it. You could catch something sleeping there.
