Residence Inn Atlantic City Airport Egg Harbor Township

I complained twice about the shower holding water, first on the morning of 2/2 after staying from 2/1, then again after showering that night. Nothing changed either time. The dishwasher was no better. It didn’t work at all, even after TWO cycles, as the pictures show. The gym was decent, but humid and strongly smelled of chlorinated pool water. The pool stayed closed the whole week, and the parking lot was barely cleared, slippery, and had no salt down. I’ll most likely choose somewhere else for business travel.

Umar Mughal was a real help during my January 19-25 stay. He was kind and professional, paid attention to details, and took care of questions or needs quickly and pleasantly. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with a spacious room that felt homey. I’d recommend it and would be happy to return.

The only real drawback was the long walk from our room to the elevator, though that may be why our area was so quiet. We overlooked Fire road and still heard very little. We had a two-bedroom, two-bath suite with plenty of room for the two of us, and my granddaughter joined us to play games and open Christmas presents. The hotel was very clean, with a welcoming lounge and fireplace, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. They also had hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream. We’d stayed at a Residence Inn in Lynchburg the weekend before, and this one was much better. Definitely worth the visit, and we’d stay again.

The next day, there was a new person at the front desk, and she was so nice. I want to thank her for that. Before and during our Fourth of July 2025 stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Atlantic City Airport, though, things were disappointing. We called several times before arriving and nobody picked up. Breakfast was just okay, not awful, but below what we expected from a Marriott. A kid threw up in the pool, and it didn’t seem to get cleaned up right away. There were also renovations all over the hotel, leaving the place noisy, messy, and inconvenient. It wasn’t a great holiday stay, and we expected much better.
