The Landing Resort

The beds were hard as a rock and really uncomfortable. Still, the resort was a nice place for a getaway. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Tracy called me the same day I canceled because I was sick. She let me know they’d rebooked the room and I should expect a refund. Tracy and Rachel were awesome, and the communication was excellent.

There’s a nice grassy space for kids to play catch and games, and the playground is good too. I liked the tea and coffee bar in the lobby and the board game room. The pools were well maintained, and the rooms were clean with a nice layout. I had a couple of cold showers, though it seemed to be just our room. Our family had the room across the hall and they didn’t have that problem. Also, one bedroom door was off its hinges and wouldn’t close. Since the room was advertised as a two-bedroom, I expected a door that could shut.

We only stayed one night, but it was pretty nice. Having a loft with two full bathrooms is handy when several people need to get ready at once. It’s right in downtown Egg Harbor, so we could walk to the brewery, distillery, and down to the water for sunset. We didn’t use the pool, though it looked nice.
