Classic Inn & Suites

For $65 a night, this place was barely worth $10. I needed a room near the DMV, which is two hours from where I live, so I chose it because it was less than two minutes away. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the person who answered the bell greeted me quickly. The room, though, was awful. The bed felt like sleeping on the floor and clanged like metal whenever I moved. The stained decorative cover and the one thin sheet both had stains, and an outlet hung loose from the wall. There was no lamp, and every TV channel had lines through it. The bathroom sink and shower had hair, with wrappers and other odd things on the floor. Dead flies were on the windowsill. The flooring looked newer and was nice, but the microwave had no turntable plate, and the refrigerator was stained and a little dirty. One dresser drawer held cigarette butts and ashes, and other drawers had dead bugs. The dingy shower curtain needs washing. Even as a motel, it should have better cleaning staff and some business sense, whatever the town or type of accommodation. No way, don’t do it. I’d never book here again if I had to return to that DMV.

There was a rat and tons of cockroaches all over the room I booked. Don’t stay here!

We got the room at 12 AM, and the woman was rude when we checked in. Then she came barging in without knocking and told us checkout was at 11. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

It was great that the front desk staff were nice and let us check in early, but that was the only good part. The room was absolutely gross and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was old soap and hair in the bathroom, plus an eyelash and toenails on the floor. Bugs were everywhere, too. Really unpleasant to stay in. Just spend 20 bucks more for another hotel.
